Petit Livarot E. Graindorge is a soft, cow's milk cheese from France. It is sharp, pungent, and bold, with a classic orange rind and paste. Thanks to the rind being washed and colored with annatto during the maturing process, the ripened Livarot has a strong aroma, but the cheese itself is mildly flavored, rich and savory, with a nutty and earthy taste. The ripe paste has no elasticity and feels heavy and moist on the tongue. The cheese dissolves in the mouth and gives off a spicy flavor, close to that of dried meat. Each unit is 8.8 oz/250 gr and comes in an individual wooden box.
