Escargot Achatine Without Shells - 7 oz or 28 oz, by Marky's, USA
Achatina fulica is an herbivorous snail species, voracious and with elongated conical shells found throughout the world's temperate and tropical zones. Able to grow substantially large and spread quickly through hospitable environments, these snails have long been used in cuisines worldwide as a rich and satisfying source of protein.
Harvested in Indonesia and produced in France, our escargots have been pre-cooked, washed, and sterilized to maintain their freshness over many months. They have a gleaming brown color, a firm texture, and a characteristic aroma and flavor without artificial colors, preservatives, or GMOs. Befitting exceptionally decadent Asian and European recipes, they'll shine when prepared à la bourguignonne or with Thai basil-curry butter.
This product is shelf-stable for up to 48 months when stored in dry, ventilated places and protected from light. Once opened, it should be refrigerated at 0 - 4 °C / 32 - 39 °F in an airtight container and consumed within three days.
